YOGA CLASS OFFERINGS

All Yoga class offerings can be 45-75 mins long and can be in English or Spanish (not both), depending on client’s needs. These classes can be done as private lessons, small groups, or for larger events such as bachelorettes and other business/private events. Please contact Yhara for pricing and availability.

Flow

all levels, fast, slow, or gentle class—depending on client’s needs. attention to smooth sequencing, building from low to high intensity is key as we connect conscious breath to movement for this fluid style of yoga. one of the most popular forms of yoga practiced, the objective is to create more proprioception (body awareness), increase strength, flexibility, mobility, mindfulness, and relaxation. faster paced flows will also boost cardio endurance.

Stretch

all levels, slow-paced style class in which poses are held for longer periods of time (2-6 minutes), incorporating elements of yin yoga, which targets the connective tissue (fascia, ligaments, tendons, and dense fibrous & elastic connective tissues), as well as elements of deep stretch, which targets skeletal muscle tissue. the goal of this class is to increase overall flexibility, mobility, and decrease stress and tension in the body and the mind.

Restorative

all levels, very slow paced class in which poses are held for 5-15 minutes and there are usually no more than 6 poses in 1 hour class! this class is very prop heavy and all props (yoga blocks, blankets, bolsters, straps, etc.) are provided. absolute comfort is key for this style of yoga in which the principal objective is to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, not stretching, thus, this class is very meditative, helping participants access deeper realms of relaxation.

Flow to Zen

all levels flow & stretch hybrid class in which we warm up the body during the first half with a fluid flow style class and then slow things down melting into long deep stretches during the second half. the best of both worlds this class helps students develop strength, flexibility, mobility, mindfulness, and relaxation.

Power

intermediate-advanced level class in which we move at a moderate pace with more challenging transitions and yoga postures. this is more demanding than flow, with more emphasis on building overall muscle strength & tone than flow, as well as increasing mobility, flexibility, and continuing to cultivate that mind-body connection.

Aqua Yoga 

all levels, this style of yoga incorporates all yogic principals. an excellent modality for individuals who want to cool down this summer, or those with joint issues and limited mobility, due to the low-impact nature of being immersed in water.

Chair Yoga

all levels, seated yoga class. like flow, breath awareness is linked to movement & poses, bringing yoga to individuals with limited body movement. chair yoga can be very active or it can be very gentle, depending on clients’ needs.

Guided Meditation

meditation has been scientifically proven to offer various health benefits, such as reducing stress and anxiety, and promote an enhanced mood, healthy sleep patterns, and boost cognitive skills. this offering can be added to any class as a shortened meditation, or the entire offering can be meditation. elements of yoga nidra, body scan, visualization, metta meditation, mindfulness, and conscious breathing techniques are woven together to create the ideal meditation.

Sound Healing

incorporates various instruments, such as crystal & tibetan singing bowls, drums, rain-sticks  flutes, etc. to help anchor students to the present moment, still the mind, and restore the individual. these methods can be applied during a guided sound mediation and or added to any style of yoga.

Pilates Services

PILATES CLASS OFFERINGS

Although Pilates may “look” like yoga, it is a completely different practice, which focuses mostly on the physical well-being. Exercises can be adapted to provide either gentle strength training for rehabilitation or a strenuous workout vigorous enough to challenge skilled athletes. Pilates increases muscle strength and endurance, as well as flexibility and mobility to improve posture and balance.  All Pilates classes are done in relation to the clients ability and can be done as private sessions, duos, trios, or for events.

Equipment Pilates Class

incorporate the use of pilates equipment, such as reformer, cadillac, chair, and barrel. we partner with any of remedy pilates & barre’s, three valley locations (north central phoenix, arcadia, and scottsdale) to use their equipment.

Mat Classes

these classes can be done in studio or in the privacy of your home.
